Our mind, my mind works in a very interesting way. And it’s very important that a lot of people are more open to talking and to understanding how people who are affected with ADHD work being more compassionate with them, being more patient with them, and being more okay with people making mistakes, especially in the workplace. Because I have worked with people who are diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, and they’re pulled up on a lot of things. They can’t help. Maybe forgetting to tick something here and there, or leaving something coming back to it because they’ve forgotten about it. And being penalised really, with real scrutiny, where in fact, they should just be reminded, hey, this happened or that this this wasn’t right, and being dealt with more compassion, because a lot of people with ADHD, their minds work in so much overdrive, that we’re trying to please people around us and work normally.
