I’m not objecting to change. But there’s a lot of change, some good some not so good. Technology is where as the elderly population, suffer not just in Plymouth, but tend to be ignored, if you don’t understand technology there is no where to go for someone to teach, you, and very little information available of where to go for help. So we are generally as the elderly ignored, and left alone. Trying to contact with council is an arduous task by telephone. And if you use internet, it’s very difficult quite often they don’t come back and reply. It’s very bad for the stress levels is always technology and no human contact. I think the council could provide more assistance for all courses, make it easy to access courses in the libraries and things like that, where they could learn a bit more to help them with their day to day lives. It would be helpful if there were information hubs where you can go to get the information. The library’s staff tends to be helpful, but there are no leaflets, and because everything’s supposed to be online,
