Map of Belonging

A visual representation of interconnected themes and factors influencing community connection and place-based well-being, derived from numerous community conversations. These factors are defined as parts of conversations that impact social isolation and/or belonging and can fluctuate. The map helps to make sense of collected conversations and can be created as a large visual representation, sometimes physically (a giant portable map that people can stand on) or digitally (e.g., using Kumu). It aims to reveal synergies, build collective ownership of emerging themes, and prepare for solution development.
